ESG COMMITMENT AT PALTARUMI

More than an ore processing plant, Paltarumi represents a new way of operating in the sector, with a modern, responsible, and visionary approach, committed to the environment, people, and the future.

Our commitment is based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, which involve adopting environmentally responsible practices, promoting the well-being of our stakeholders, and ensuring ethical and transparent management.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT
Our social commitment begins with caring for the people who are part of our environment.

The plant is a space that fosters well-being, growth, and quality of life. We provide our workers and visitors with healthy meals, medical care, recreational areas, and activities that build a sense of community and contribute to a balanced work environment.

We also maintain a close relationship with nearby communities, partnering on projects that support their development

Our social commitment extends to innovative initiatives. In partnership with SERFOR, we are developing a shelter for rescued wildlife. Motelo turtles and a black-chested buzzard-eagle, saved from illegal trafficking, are already part of this space, which is on its way to becoming a permanent refuge for vulnerable species.

Alongside this project, we’ve created a small farm with cows, sheep, alpacas, llamas, guinea pigs, and other animals that live in harmony with our operations.

ART AND MINING IN HARMONY
Paltarumi is also art. Urban art displays fill the plant's industrial buildings with various shapes, color, and life, conveying what words can't always express.
At Paltarumi, industry isn't limited to production; it also inspires, raises awareness, and celebrates creativity.
MURALS
At Paltarumi, mineral processing is a story of transformation, respect for nature, and commitment to innovation and people. Each mural that adorns our facilities tells a part of this story: the origin of minerals, the relationship between mining and nature, and the fundamental role of technology and human labor in ore processing.

This mural welcomes visitors to Paltarumi and represents the entire gold production process: from its extraction in the Andean mountain range, through its processing at the plant, to its export and final transformation into ingots or jewelry. This artwork celebrates the origin of gold and the human effort behind each stage. It reflects Paltarumi’s commitment to being part of a value chain that cares as much about the process as the outcome.

This mural transports us to the origins of minerals on Earth. Through it, we embark on a journey that begins with the geological processes that formed the earth's crust and goes through millions of years, from the age of the dinosaurs until today, when these minerals reach our hands to be transformed. At Paltarumi, we honor these natural processes and work with responsibility and respect for the environment.

This mural represents our vision of responsible coexistence. At Paltarumi, we demonstrate that mining can coexist with nature, plants, and animals. Through practices such as composting, reforestation, and landscaping, we promote a circular economy that respects life in all its forms. We firmly believe that development and biodiversity can move forward together.

OUR DINOSAURS
At Paltarumi, these giants accompany us as a symbol of time and the strength of the Earth. The T-Rex, with its mouth open, reflects our energy and ambition. From the hills, two more T-Rexes observe the plant, symbolizing our broad, long-term strategic vision. The caveman represents our ability to adapt and evolve.

Dinosaurs remind us that every step we take should leave a positive mark on the Earth. That principle guides our work every day.
